History of BU Požežanka
The foundation of BU Požežanka is connected with integration of primary agricultural co-operative societies into the then PPK Kutjevo.
In 1964th the first steam bakery in Požega was built.
In 1970th, the building of the silo began, which got its contemporary form and capacity in the mid 1980s, after going through numerous different stages.
The contemporary mill was built in 1969/70 with the nominal capacity of 80 t/h of wheat, which enables the annual production of 22-26 thousand tons of mill products.
Today, we are continually working on keeping up with the contemporary technological trends, modernization of batches, vehicle fleet and other elements vital for a contemporary production.
